Compensation and Benefits Expert (SZJ-12188)
Responsibilities:
• 1. Strategic Compensation Design:
o Define a fair, equitable, and competitive total compensation and benefits package that aligns with our company’s strategy and business goals.
o Develop a consistent compensation process that reflects our work culture and organizational objectives.
• 2. Compliance and Legal Adherence:
o Ensure that compensation practices adhere to current legislation (including pay equity and human rights regulations).
o Stay informed about labor rules and regulations to maintain compliance.
• 3. Data-Driven Decision Making:
o Use various methods and techniques to make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial, and non-financial compensations.
o Analyse organizational employee surveys to assess employee needs and preferences.
• 4. Job Analysis and Classification:
o Prepare job architecture, conduct job evaluations, and classify roles within the organization.
o Participate in salary and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
• 5. Effective Communication and Engagement:
o Deploy communication strategies to ensure employees understand their compensation and benefits.
o Define success metrics and track the impact of compensation programs.
• 6. Research and Benchmarking:
o Stay updated on emerging trends, issues, and best practices in compensation and benefits.
o Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports to inform decision-making.
• 7. Responsibility for SLT
o Create board decision templates (hirings, promotions etc.)
o Bonus calculations (STI, LTI)
o Pension plans (HZV, BPH-F)
o Performance bonds
Professional Requirements:
• Prior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle management.
• Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems.
• Familiarity with organizational hierarchies, architecture and labor market surveys.
• Adequate knowledge of current labor rules and regulations.
• Understanding of various types of incentives and benefits..
