Manufacturing Controlling Lead - (SZJ-12167)
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability.
• Analyze production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Monitor variances between actual and budgeted costs, investigating discrepancies.
• Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for manufacturing departments.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure financial plans align with operational goals.
• Work closely with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Partner with senior management to align financial objectives with strategic priorities.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance in manufacturing.
• Provide actionable insights to improve operational and financial results.
• Build and develop a team of financial analysts within the Budapest Shared Service Structure.
What you need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification is a plus).
• At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sector, with direct exposure to manufacturing finance.
• Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders. Additional languages are a plus. Ability to communicate with stakeholders in off-shore locations.
• Demonstrated team leading experience. Prior team building experience is nice to have.
