On behalf of our multinational partner, we are searching for candidates for the following position: Payroll Specialist.

An organization with multiple manufacturing sites, a wide breadth of products and services, and over 90 legal entities in almost 50 countries, is hiring a Payroll Specialist within our Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) organization, located at its headquarters in Austin, Texas and reporting to the EMEA Supervisor. Or partner is seeking a strong Payroll professional with a demonstrated track record in EMEA payroll administration and processing. The ideal candidate will be someone who is a self-starter, diligent, excels at providing excellent customer service, has a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and is an exemplary great teammate!

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Processing monthly payrolls for multiple EMEA countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Providing accurate and timely processing and reporting of all payroll processes and all subsequent reconciliation and reporting responsibilities
• Processing final separation payments and other off-cycle payment runs, as required
• Performing validations of payroll inputs, downstream reports, and interfaces that include, but are not limited to, GL postings, accruals, third-party reporting and net pay
• Preparing reports and collaborating closely with third-party vendors in connection with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and compliance reporting
• Responding to inquiries and information requests from both employees and key business partners within HR, Compensation & Benefits, HR Information Systems, IT, Legal, Accounting and Finance on a timely basis
• Processing an accurate payroll while working with the team to drive innovation and process optimization and ensuring compliance
• Preparing payroll reports for management and third-party vendors
• Assisting with preparation of quarterly workers compensation tax filings
• Supporting the EMEA Payroll Team as a back-up for various EMEA countries
• Assisting with Payroll and other Finance strategic projects requiring Payroll inputs, as required

Qualifications needed:

• Recent payroll experience with a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on payroll processing
• A BA or BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field is desired
• Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications, such as Excel, Word, and Power-Point
• Fluent in English
• Recent experience multiple payroll platforms and Oracle preferred
• Experience managing relationships with 3rd party vendors and including issue resolution and processing enhancements, support payroll transformation projects is desired
• Strong analytical, attention to detail, and effective interpersonal skills are preferred
• Proven ability to think critically and manage time under deadline constraints
• Quick learner, and highly motivated
• Service-oriented demeanor and approach. Able to develop effective working relationships with various and diverse collaborators
• Ability to research and handle extremely confidential information in a professional and discreet manner
• Ability to work independently and with the Team to process payroll timely
