Finance and Accounting Specialist (PE-12047)
• Responsible for the reliable and timely administrative handling of finance duties
• Manages supplier invoices, checks the contractual background
• Registers basic accounting entries
• Creates outgoing transactions in the online banking facilities
• Detects incoming transfers via online banking facilities
• Chases and administers outstanding items
• Liaises with external service providers (such as Payroll)
• Prepares ad-hoc reports and carries out tasks related to accounting and finance
• Identifies procedural inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvements
• Ensures that all relevant procedures, manuals are kept up to date
What you need to have:
• Fluency in English (verbal and spoken) is required
• Completion of secondary education (high school degree) is a minimum requirement. University level courses in Accounting and Finance/Business administration is an asset
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance and accounting is required
• Working knowledge of accounting standards is an asset
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Products (including MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint) is required
